Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is a minor surgical procedure used to remove groups of hair follicles from the back of the head (donor area) to the bald or balding part of the head (recipient site).
This is normally carried out in an one-day procedure under local anaesthetic by our team of experienced practitioners, led by our hair transplant doctors.
The procedure can be carried out on both men and women. Typical recipient site is the front and crown of the head, but we can also transplant hair onto eyebrows, eyelashes and beards.

FUE Extraction Procedure
Follicular unit extraction (FUE)- this is a more modern method of hair restoration. Individual hair follicles are removed using a special motorised punch. This results in reduced scarring and quicker healing.
