Our trichologists have developed a range of shampoo's and conditioners designed for every hair type. They will help to stabilise hair loss, maintain hair growth, and maintain the scalp in a healthy condition.

• Menopausal Hair Retention Therapy- The HRT treatment for thinning hair caused by maturity and menopause. Active ingredients are the oestrogen rich phyto-oestrogens Humulus Lupus and Trifolium Pratense. The DHT inhibitor Seronoa Serrulata and Menthol. The addition of Fulvic Acid an organic trace mineral complex providing valuable minerals to the formulation. Regular use will strengthen hair follicles help to regulate localised hormonal balance.

• Hair Loss Tonic Serum- Stimulant for hair loss conditions

• Scalp Treatment “Liquid Gold Plus” Shampoo.  - Designed with an ultra-mild surfactant base that cleanses the hair gently without destroying the protective lipid layer. The main active ingredient is Piroctone Olamine which is anti-dandruff and anti-irritant to clear dandruff and irritation from the scalp.
  Recent scientific study has shown that Piroctone Olamine also stimulates the hair bulb encouraging the hair shaft to grow thicker by 7%. This shampoo is good therapy for hair loss and thinning hair.

  Can be used on all hair types.

• Ultra Mild shampoo  (post op or SMP shampoo)- contains herbal extracts of Sage- Rosemary. Does not have any added colour, preservative or fragrance. Ideal shampoo because of its low irritancy value.

• Stimulant shampoo-    Contains Menthol and Peppermint which prepare the scalp to improve absorption of lotions such as minoxidil and Estradex.

• Itchy, Flakey Scalp Shampoo (antimicrobial shampoo) – contains Piroctone Olamine, Zinc Pirithione, Menthol.

• Yarrow - Ideal all-purpose conditioner which is Energy Intensive with Panthenol. For extreme dry hair conditions (perming etc) 

• Oil Free Conditioner. Ideal for oily hair, Male/Female Pattern Hair

• Energy Intensive Hair Repair Conditioner. Keratin and Glycerol enriched for damaged, dry or chemically treated hair

This is herbal product which is thought to be a natural DHT inhibitor. Our formula is a herbal micro-nutrient high potency formulation and provides specific essential nutrients to help maximise hair growth. Science does not know exactly how saw palmetto works, however most researchers believe it acts in a similar way to finasteride (without the side effects) by blocking an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase.  5-alpha-reductase converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is the main cause of genetic hair loss, or male and female pattern baldness by binding to scalp follicle receptors, causing them to shrink and gradually lose the ability to produce new hairs. Other theories suggest that saw palmetto works instead by reducing the uptake of DHT at the receptor sites. Whatever the case, there is agreement that the active ingredients in saw palmetto in some way has a positive effect on DHT which makes it a useful therapy for hair loss.

This was the first hair loss treatment proven to reduce both hair loss in both men and women. Minoxidil increases blood supply to applied area and therefore increase the nutrients delivered to the hair follicles. This prevents hair loss and promotes regrowth by opening potassium channels. Different strengths of minoxidil are available and it is available in liquid with a dropper to make it easier to massage on to the scalp.

We have various formulations of minoxidil, produced by our trichologist, to suit all types of hair loss:

• Minoxidil 2% and 5%

• Minoxidil 2% and 5% with Azelaic acid ( A DHT inhibitor)

• Estradex 2 and 5% (our best topical treatment for hair loss- contains minoxidil, estrogens, azelaic acid and other DHT blockers)

Normally finasteride and minoxidil are given together to give the best results.

These have been designed by our trichologists and contains a blend of vitamins and minerals beneficial for hair growth. we have separate vitamins for men and women.

These include our:

• Follicle Prescription Capsules- Promotes the hair growth cycle in men and women (One a day formula- many on the market are 2-3 times a day)

• Micronutrition Tablets- All the vitamins, minerals, amino acids and added herbal complex to give optimum supplementation to the hair. The herbal extracts have a calming effect on the body.

• Hair Vitality Capsules- All the vitamins/minerals important for hair growth potential females

The laser comb is an FDA approved low power hand help laser designed for the scalp. Used regularly it helps promote hair hair regrowth and prevent hair loss. It works particularly well when used with the above medications.
